Where it is made
We look for European brands producing in Europe. We distinguish where a garment is made from where its fibres and yarn come from, and flag information that still needs confirmation.
What it is made from
We look at fibre composition, with a strong preference for natural materials. Functional additions are assessed in the context of the piece. A composition label alone does not prove quality or durability.
The evidence behind it
We research product and production information, link claims to sources and make gaps visible. We do not treat a broad brand statement as proof for every product.

The aim is simple: help you discover clothes you will want to wear and keep. Materials, construction and care all matter; no garment comes with a blanket lifetime guarantee.
